ROG.e Transportation Guide

How oil & gas professionals, exhibitors, and executive teams get to Riocentro, move between hotels and the venue, and transfer to Macaé after ROG.e.

Airport arrival (GIG or SDU)

Most international attendees land at GIG. Pre-book a meet-and-greet transfer with driver details confirmed on WhatsApp — the arrivals area at GIG can be chaotic during conference week, and rideshare pickup points are far from international arrivals.

Hotel ⇄ Riocentro

  • Riocentro sits in the Barra da Tijuca / Jacarepaguá area — 30–60 minutes from most Rio hotels depending on traffic.
  • Morning inbound and late-afternoon outbound are the slowest windows. Build in a 20-minute buffer.
  • Shared shuttles work for individuals; teams and exhibitors move faster with a dedicated vehicle and driver on standby.
  • WhatsApp your driver 15 minutes before you're ready to leave the venue — they'll meet you at the designated pickup zone.

Exhibitors & delegations

  • Reserve vehicles for the full conference block, not day-by-day.
  • Coordinate a single point of contact per team so drivers get consistent instructions.
  • Consolidate invoices per company — we handle nota fiscal for reimbursement.

Post-event: Rio to Macaé

Many attendees head straight to Macaé after ROG.e for site visits, client meetings, or offshore rotations. Book this transfer before the conference — availability tightens in the final 48 hours.

  • Direct drop-off at heliport, Petrobras, or client facility.
  • Optional grocery / pharmacy stop en route.
  • Return transfer scheduled for your rotation home.
